Today's Food Prices in Bali: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (9/6/2024) at 11:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,450 (6.54%) to Rp39,910 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,080 (3.08%) to Rp34,030 per kg.
