Lampung Region Food Prices Wednesday (24/7): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (24/7/2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, red chilies, premium rice, milkfish, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up Rp1,770 (3.19%) to Rp57,240 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease, down Rp520 (2.11%) to Rp24,120 per kg.
