These training programs covered improving product quality, packaging, marketing, and other aspects.

In 2021, 42 MSMEs in Central Java marketed their products in 25 countries. Then, in 2022, 172 MSMEs reportedly expanded to 45 countries.

Furthermore, the Head of the Central Java Cooperative and MSMEs Service, Sulistiyo Bramiyanto, mentioned taking 30 Central Javanese MSME actors to Bali to market their products.

According to Sulistiyo, these MSME actors met with 28 buyers, 12 of whom were foreigners. In three days, total sales transactions reached Rp25 billion (approximately US$1.67 million).

“We encourage MSMEs to go international. We assist through training, networking, and export consultants to help MSMEs,” said Sulistiyo in his statement on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
