Red Onion Prices in Modern Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:23 WIB, the daily red onion price in modern markets of the Bangka Belitung Islands province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily red onion price in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp49.7 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily red onion price in modern markets in the Bangka Belitung Islands over the past three months has increased by 5.27% from the previously traded Rp57.9 thousand per kg.

The record increase in daily red onion prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2019 with an increase of 49.07%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2023 with a decrease of -26.53%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in the Bangka Belitung Islands province shows that ten commodities have decreased and nine have increased. The staple foods with decreased prices are Super I Quality Rice, Curly Red Chili, Rice, Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, and Red Chili.

Following are the prices of nine staple foods monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price developments in the last month in the Bangka Belitung Islands province:
