Red Onion Prices at Modern Markets, May 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of shallots in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Province is recorded at Rp60,950 per kg. This price is unchanged from the previous day and the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of shallots in modern markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp60,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of shallots in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Province over the last three months has increased by 22.64% from the previous record of Rp49,700 per kg.

The highest record of daily shallot price increases in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2019 with an increase of 49.07%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2023 with a decrease of -26.53%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities today in Bangka Belitung Province show nine commodities decreased and seven others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Red Chili, Chili, Grade I Low-Quality Rice, Red Chili, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, and Curly Red Chili.
