This is the BWF Women's Singles Ranking after the 2023 Taipei Open. What is the position of Indonesian representatives?

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has updated the world badminton rankings following the Taipei Open 2023, which concluded on June 25, 2023.

Based on data from the BWF World Ranking on July 4, 2023, several players experienced both increases and decreases in their rankings.

Databoks compiled the points and rankings for the women's singles category.

Indonesian player Gregoria Mariska Tanjung rose to seventh in the world. This is the highest position Gregoria has ever achieved in her career, previously holding the eighth position.

Gregoria currently has 63,151 points. This achievement pushed Ratchanok Intanon down to eighth place.

Despite losing in the first round of the 2023 Indonesia Open, Gregoria has had a strong season, winning the Spain Masters and finishing as runner-up at the Malaysia Masters.

Meanwhile, the top spot is occupied by Japanese player Akane Yamaguchi, with 103,717 points.

An Se Young and Chen Yu Fei are in second and third place, respectively, with 102,264 points and 93,396 points.
