Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (5/9/2024) at 12:41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, milkfish, red chili peppers, fine iodized salt, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp280 (3.22%), reaching Rp8,980 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,100 (8.28%), reaching Rp23,260 per kg.
