Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta, D.I.: What's the Price of Red Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:34 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, mackerel, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, premium rice, Minyakita (a brand of cooking oil), dry soybean seeds (import), and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,562 (4.97%) to Rp54,133 per kg. Minyakita experienced the largest price decrease, down by Rp362 (2.22%) to Rp15,980 per liter.
