RTI Business data shows that a number of shares were released by foreign investors during the first week of 2024.
This can be seen from the stocks with the highest net foreign sell (NFS) value, a situation where foreign investors withdraw their funds by selling a larger number of shares than they buy. NFS sometimes causes share prices to fall.
The stocks with the highest NFS in the first week of 2024 were PT Astra International Tbk. (ASII) with a value of Rp252.8 billion. The traded share volume reached 175.4 million shares with a transaction value of Rp991.5 billion and a frequency of 39,790 times.
Second, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk. (MDKA) with an NFS of Rp115.5 billion. The circulating volume reached Rp221.6 million with a transaction value of Rp613.6 billion and a frequency of 37,490 times.
