Price of Super I Quality Rice in Modern Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in West Kalimantan is recorded at Rp16.3 thousand per kg. This price has remained unchanged compared to the previous day and over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets has also stayed the same at Rp16.3 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in West Kalimantan over the past three months has decreased by 1.21%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in West Kalimantan was traded at Rp16.5 thousand per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of Super I quality rice in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2020 with a 6.25% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a -45.62% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in West Kalimantan today show that ten commodities have decreased and seven have increased. The sembako with decreasing prices are Curly Red Chili, Granulated Sugar, Bird's Eye Chili, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Large Red Chili, and Local Granulated Sugar.
