The daily price of low-quality rice at Modern Markets in West Java Province has remained unchanged over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in West Java Province is recorded at Rp13,250 per kg. This price is unchanged from the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

However, compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp13,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in West Java over the past three months has shown a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in West Java Province is traded at Rp13,250 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2021 with an increase of 7.23%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2021 with a decrease of -6.75%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java show nine commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Red Onions, and Garlic.
