Today's Food Prices (22/4) in DKI Jakarta: Oil Rises, Onion Falls

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) at 16:14 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 8 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that increased in price was premium packaged palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, Honan garlic, red cayenne pepper, shallots, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium packaged palm cooking oil price jumped the highest by Rp125 (0.56%) to Rp22,458 per liter. Meanwhile, Honan garlic price dropped the steepest by Rp1,958 (4.68%) to Rp39,889 per kg.
