Cooking Oil Prices in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in West Sulawesi province was observed to drop by Rp50 compared to the previous day to Rp20,600.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp19,800.

Meanwhile, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 7.85% from the previously recorded Rp19,100.

The record increase in daily cooking oil prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 13.22%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2018 with a decrease of -10.62%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show that four commodities have decreased and 14 others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Curly Red Chili, Medium-sized Red Onion, Garlic, and Medium-sized Garlic.
