Latest Food Prices in East Java, What is the Price of Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 17, 2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 8 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include red onion, mackerel, broiler chicken meat, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, red bird's eye chili, large red chili, bulk wheat flour, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt increased the most by Rp139 (1.51%) to Rp9,344 per kg. Red bird's eye chili, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decline of Rp829 (3.06%) to Rp26,297 per kg.

9. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,611 per kg (up 0.81%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,374 per kg (up 0.38%)
