Bali's Current Food Prices: Rice, Chicken, and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (May 11, 2024) at 2:46 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, shallots, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, curly red chilies, medium rice, fine iodized salt, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp990 (4.12%), reaching Rp25,040 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp150 (2.65%), reaching Rp5,510 per kg.
