Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (4/5/2024) at 13:29 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, chicken eggs, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, mackerel, pure beef, and medium-grain rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest price increase of Rp1,100 (1.73%) to Rp64,810 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,640 (7.53%) to Rp44,720 per kg.
