Jambi Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Chili Price Down (Sunday, December 31, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 3:58 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,280 (3.82%) to Rp34,790 per kg. The price of mackerel saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp1,190 (3.57%) to Rp32,180 per kg.
