Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Oil and Rice Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (25/9/2024) at 11.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, garlic bulbs, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,340 (3.22%) to Rp42,930 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices fell the most sharply by Rp2,880 (8.48%) to Rp31,070 per kg.
