Today's Food Prices in East Java: What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (13/6/2024) at 10:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, red chilies, farmer-level corn, and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp600 (11.65%), reaching Rp5,750 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp460 (4.99%), reaching Rp8,760 per kg.
