Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, How Much are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 08:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 saw price increases and 10 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, milkfish, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, pure beef, dry soybean (import), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase, rising by Rp4,880 (12.8%) to Rp43,000 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the largest price decrease, falling by Rp10,970 (23.86%) to Rp35,000 per kg.
