Price of Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets of North Sulawesi province is recorded at Rp79.4 thousand. This price decreased by Rp1,850 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp39.5 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in North Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 80.45% from the previously recorded Rp44 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2020 with a 100% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2019 with a -44.1% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in North Sulawesi province shows that 13 commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Super I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Local Granulated Sugar, Medium-sized Shallots, Shallots, Super II Quality Rice, Cooking Oil, and Rice.

4. Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp18.65 thousand per kg (unchanged)
5. Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp38.9 thousand per kg (decreased 11.59%)
6. Beef per Kg: Rp145.2 thousand per kg (unchanged)
7. Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp38.9 thousand per kg (decreased 11.59%)
8. Grade 1 Beef per Kg: Rp147.4 thousand per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp19.9 thousand per kg (increased 1.27%)
10. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp77.5 thousand per kg (increased 24.8%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg: Rp19.85 thousand per kg (increased 1.02%)
12. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp57.15 thousand per kg (decreased 4.27%)
13. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp80.5 thousand per kg (increased 17.95%)
