Price of Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets of North Sulawesi is recorded at Rp79,400. This price decreased by Rp1,850 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp39,500.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in North Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 80.45% from the previously recorded Rp44,000.

The record increase in the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2020 with a 100% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2019 with a -44.1% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in North Sulawesi show that 13 commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Super I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Local Granulated Sugar, Medium-sized Red Onion, Red Onion, Super II Quality Rice, Cooking Oil, and Rice.

Below are the prices of nine staple foods monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price developments in the last month in North Sulawesi province:

2. Grade 2 Beef per Kg: Rp143,000 per kg (unchanged)
3. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp20,500 per kg (decreased 0.24%)
4. Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp18,650 per kg (unchanged)
5. Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp38,900 per kg (decreased 11.59%)
6. Beef per Kg: Rp145,200 per kg (unchanged)
7. Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp38,900 per kg (decreased 11.59%)
8. Grade 1 Beef per Kg: Rp147,400 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp19,900 per kg (increased 1.27%)
10. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp77,500 per kg (increased 24.8%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg: Rp19,850 per kg (increased 1.02%)
12. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp57,150 per kg (decreased 4.27%)
13. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp80,500 per kg (increased 17.95%)
14. Lower I Quality Rice per Kg: Rp16,600 per kg (increased 4.4%)
15. Large Red Chili per Kg: Rp91,800 per kg (decreased 7.27%)
16. Red Chili per Kg: Rp65,850 per kg (decreased 2.08%)
