Chili pepper prices in traditional markets in Banten Province have increased by 0.84% over the past month.

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Banten Province is recorded at Rp77,850. This price is down Rp5,500 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp77,200.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Banten over the past three months has increased by 150.72% from the previous price of Rp31,050.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2025 with an increase of 42.5%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -24.2%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Banten show seven commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province.
