Today's Food Prices in East Java: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/03/2025) at 11:54 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, medium rice, SPHP rice, and table salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Minyakita (branded cooking oil), chicken eggs, red chilies, chicken meat, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp294 (3.27%) to Rp9,293 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chilies saw the sharpest price drop, down by Rp3,868 (8.73%) to Rp40,437 per kg.

8. Chicken Meat: Rp35,139 per kg (down 1.07%)
9. Milkfish: Rp32,547 per kg (up 0.46%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,967 per kg (up 0.73%)
