Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Red Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (11/4/2025) at 10:34 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies (keriting), shallots, skipjack tuna, table salt, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was large red chilies, up by IDR 3,394 (6.49%) to IDR 55,727 per kg. The largest price decrease was for farmer-level corn, down IDR 5,000 (100.0%) to IDR 0 per kg.
