Current Food Prices in Central Java: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 11:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, Indian mackerel, SPHP rice, garlic bulbs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, red chilies, pure beef, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp220 (1.83%) to Rp12,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,410 (4.53%) to Rp29,730 per kg.
