Jakarta, DKI Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at 10:51 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 11 saw price increases and 9 saw decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, packaged wheat flour, chicken meat, and large red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp4,286 (10.53%) to Rp45,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) saw the steepest decline, dropping Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
