Riau Food Price Update Today: Fish Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Thursday, December 21, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Riau today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:52 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, milkfish, dry soybeans (import), medium rice, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp10,360 (32.42%), reaching Rp42,320 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the least, by Rp8,270 (9.81%), reaching Rp76,070 per kg.
