The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in West Papua is the Highest in Indonesia (Tuesday, March 1, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 16,500 per kg for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Overall, the average price this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 16,590 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets in West Papua was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 22,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in this province is lower, previously recorded at Rp 23,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was sold at Rp 22,100 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in North Kalimantan was Rp 20,600 per kg, Aceh Rp 18,650 per kg, and North Sumatra Rp 17,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with sales prices of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) are West Kalimantan, Gorontalo, and Central Sulawesi.
