Daily Fresh Chicken Egg Prices in Traditional Markets of Papua Province Have Decreased by 0.79% Over the Past Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in Papua Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp37,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in Papua over the past three months has fallen by 1.18%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in Papua Province is traded at Rp38,100.

The record high for the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2022 with an increase of 97.93%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2022 with a decrease of -49.97%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Papua show six commodities decreased and 16 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Medium Quality Rice I, Large Red Chili, Low Quality Rice I, Low Quality Rice II, Medium Quality Rice II, and Rice.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in Papua Province:

6. Curly Red Chili per Kg Rp61,250 per kg (up 17.79%)
7. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp100,750 per kg (up 37.54%)
8. Low Quality Rice I per Kg Rp15,950 per kg (down 0.62%)
9. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp100,750 per kg (up 42.4%)
10. Cooking Oil per Kg Rp22,450 per kg (unchanged)
