Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Rice, Cooking Oil, and Chicken Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (10/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, red chilies, shallots, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, milkfish, broiler chicken, red onions, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp590 (1.29%) to Rp46,290 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the lowest price decrease, falling by Rp2,070 (5.12%) to Rp38,340 per kg.
