Lampung Region Food Prices Week of September 15th: Prices of Chicken, Salt, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (15/9/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, milkfish, shallots, broiler chicken, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili, red cayenne pepper, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most, by Rp190 (4.19%) to Rp4,720 per kg. The price of red cayenne pepper decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,230 (3.15%) to Rp37,780 per kg.
