Wholesale Prices of Large Red Chilies at Bali Province's Modern Market Decreased by 21.95% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in Bali's modern markets has decreased by Rp 1,400 per kg compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 74,300 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets has decreased from Rp 95,200 per kg.

Over the past three months, the daily price of large red chilies in Bali's modern markets has increased by 112.29% from the previous price of Rp 35,000 per kg.

The highest price increase for daily large red chilies in the province's modern markets was recorded in February 2017, with a 122.46% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017, at -45.16%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bali show 14 commodities decreased and nine increased. The commodities with decreased prices are: Type II Low-Quality Rice, Granulated Sugar, Cooking Oil, Small Chili, Red Small Chili, Green Small Chili, Curly Red Chili, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Bali Province:

1. Type II Low-Quality Rice: Rp 15,300 per kg (down 1.92%)
2. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1: Rp 22,700 per kg (unchanged)
3. Granulated Sugar: Rp 18,300 per kg (down 0.27%)
4. Type I Low-Quality Rice: Rp 15,500 per kg (unchanged)
5. Cooking Oil: Rp 22,150 per kg (down 0.23%)
6. Small Chili: Rp 112,400 per kg (down 3.6%)
7. Rice: Rp 15,950 per kg (up 1.27%)
8. Red Small Chili: Rp 146,950 per kg (down 1.18%)
9. Green Small Chili: Rp 77,850 per kg (down 7.82%)
10. Beef: Rp 186,450 per kg (unchanged)
11. Curly Red Chili: Rp 89,200 per kg (down 1.38%)
12. Fresh Broiler Chicken: Rp 46,200 per kg (down 7.23%)
13. Grade 1 Beef: Rp 180,600 per kg (unchanged)
14. Grade 2 Beef: Rp 192,300 per kg (unchanged)
15. Chicken Meat: Rp 46,200 per kg (down 7.23%)
16. Chicken Eggs: Rp 40,100 per kg (down 0.87%)
