Local White Sugar Prices in Riau Province Traditional Markets Increased by 0.81% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Riau Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has increased by 5.04% from the previously recorded price of Rp17,850.

The record high for the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2020 with an increase of 7.67%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 with a decrease of -6.43%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau show nine commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality II Rice, Low Quality I Rice, Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Branded Cooking Oil 2 in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, and Branded Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets by Province.
