Current Food Prices in Bali: Onions Up, Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (7/1/2025) at 09.16 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, medium rice, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp3,960 (11.04%) to Rp39,830 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp6,010 (20.8%) to Rp22,890 per kg.
