Sumatera Barat Food Price List Today: Rice and Chicken Prices Increase (Friday, January 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/1/2024) at 11:37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, milkfish, red chilies, mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,050 (8.2%) to Rp40,250 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,140 (3.81%) to Rp28,820 per kg.

9. Shallots: Rp28,820 per kg (down 3.81%)
