Food Prices on Saturday (June 8th) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Pepper, Egg, and Chicken Meat Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (8/6/2024) at 11:52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, red chilies, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), garlic bulb, medium rice, pure beef, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp310 (2.65%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,560 (3.67%) to Rp40,900 per kg.
