Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Friday, January 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (12/1/2024) at 11:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, pure beef, garlic cloves, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn increased the most by Rp240 (3.48%) to Rp7,140 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the least by Rp2,140 (4.16%) to Rp49,310 per kg.
