Today's Food Price List in East Java: Rice and Beef Prices Increase (Friday, March 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (15/3/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, medium-grain rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, premium rice, red chilies, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp380 (4.01%) to Rp9,860 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper experienced the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp3,050 (6.23%) to Rp45,910 per kg.

6. Mackerel: Rp33,470 per kg (down 0.42%)
7. Milkfish: Rp33,140 per kg (down 0.33%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,190 per kg (up 2.23%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,910 per kg (up 0.26%)
