Daily Prices of Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets of West Kalimantan Province Increased by 57.1% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in West Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp76,900. This price is up Rp7,100 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has increased from Rp48,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in West Kalimantan over the past three months has increased by 82.44% from the previous price of Rp42,150.

The record increase in the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in August 2016 with an increase of 32.43%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2016 with a decrease of -24.79%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Kalimantan show three commodities decreased and 12 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
