Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Chicken Down (Friday, March 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (1/3/2024) at 08.11 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), chicken eggs, shallots, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (import), red chili peppers, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp5,860 (15.36%) to Rp44,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna experienced the largest decrease, dropping Rp27,020 (72.99%) to Rp10,000 per kg.

3. Red Chili Peppers: Rp80,000 per kg (down 6.47%)
4. Shallots: Rp44,000 per kg (up 15.36%)
5. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 0.7%)
6. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 1.46%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 21.16%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp32,000 per kg (up 5.75%)
9. Chicken Meat: Rp30,000 per kg (down 18.98%)
10. Premium Rice: Rp16,500 per kg (down 1.2%)
