Today's Food Prices in East Java: Salt Prices Rise, Beef Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (24/9/2024) at 18:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, red chilies, and red cayenne peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), pure beef, medium rice, shallots, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp180 (1.93%) to Rp9,490 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp130 (1.26%) to Rp10,180 per kg.
