The average daily price of medium-sized shallots at Modern Markets in Central Kalimantan Province has decreased by 20.08% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in Central Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp47,750 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp59,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in Central Kalimantan over the past three months has fallen by 22.29%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in Central Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp61,450 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 67.28%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -46.64%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Kalimantan show 12 commodities decreased and six others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Chili, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Green Chili, Garlic, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Medium-sized Garlic, Shallot, and Medium-sized Shallot.
