Lampung Food Prices Thursday (August 29th): Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (29/8/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, shallots, premium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, pure beef, mackerel fish, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,560 (7.68%) to Rp21,870 per kg. Mackerel fish experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp1,960 (6.17%) to Rp29,830 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,380 per kg (down 0.73%)
8. Milkfish: Rp27,090 per kg (up 0.93%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,780 per kg (down 5.26%)
10. Shallots: Rp21,870 per kg (up 7.68%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,690 per kg (up 0.51%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,990 per liter (up 0.47%)
