Current Food Prices in Bali: Egg Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (27/6/2024) at 09.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, premium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp3,120 (11.33%) to Rp30,650 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp890 (7.59%) to Rp10,840 per kg.
