The average daily price of medium-sized garlic at modern markets in Riau Province has decreased by 3.36% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized garlic in Riau Province's modern markets is recorded at Rp57,500 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets has decreased from Rp59,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in Riau over the last three months has fallen by 6.96%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in Riau Province's modern markets was traded at Rp61,800 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of medium-sized garlic in the province's modern markets was previously recorded in April 2017 with a 257.5% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017 at -62.38%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau today recorded three commodities decreasing and ten others increasing. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chili Peppers, Medium-Sized Garlic, and Garlic.
