Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Chilies, Rice, and Chicken Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (26/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red onions and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp2,510 (6.29%) to Rp42,430 per kg. Skipjack tuna prices decreased the least by Rp810 (2.2%) to Rp36,000 per kg.
