Chicken Egg Price in North Maluku Reaches Rp 52,000 per Kg (Monday, June 5, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 33,920 per kg, data as of Monday, June 5, 2023. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 34,540 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in North Maluku's modern markets was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 52,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 29,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Central Sulawesi's modern markets, the price of chicken eggs was sold at Rp 45,550 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 41,150 per kg, West Papua Rp 40,300 per kg, and Bali Rp 38,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with chicken egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken egg selling prices are Jambi, North Kalimantan, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
