Latest Indonesian Regional Food Prices: Egg Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (24/6/2024) at 17.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, whole garlic cloves, and packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, curly red chilies, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp410 (1.25%) to Rp33,160 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies fell the sharpest by Rp2,430 (4.42%) to Rp52,520 per kg.
