Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Sunday, January 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (14/1/2024) at 12:22 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, premium rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies surged the highest, increasing by Rp530 (1.96%) to Rp27,600 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, dropping by Rp4,000 (40.0%) to Rp6,000 per kg.
